Message from the Chairman of the Board
|Tim Aldrich has lived on the Isle of Dogs since 2012 and has been a co-opted governor since 2018, a member since then also of the Business and Finance Committee. Professionally, he has worked for many years in management consulting at KPMG and since 2018 has held senior roles at the General Medical Council, the regulator of doctors in the UK.|
“It is an enormous privilege to chair the governing board of George Green’s School. As a local resident and parent I am absolutely committed to working with fellow governors, teachers and the community to deliver on the ambitions for this hugely exciting institution at the heart of the Isle of Dogs with a history, deeply connected to the maritime heritage, dating back to 1828.
The school’s leadership has a vision of aspiration, equality and excellence and day in, day out I see the passion and dedication of staff who believe in the potential of all our students to transform the world we live in. The role of the governing board is to play our part in making that happen."
